Sondra Peron is a fine arts photographer based in Massachusetts. Since 2011, she has been on the faculty at Springfield Technical Community College, and is currently a full-time tenured professor of arts and humanities, coordinator of the fine arts program (2024-2026), and gallery coordinator of the Amy H. Carberry Fine Arts Gallery (2013-).
Past teaching experience includes as a visiting professor of art at Hampshire College (2012 and 2014), and adjunct faculty at Holyoke Community College, Northwestern CT Community College, and Bay Path University. She worked at Smith College as a teaching assistant in art history from 2004-2010. For over eleven years, Peron was an arts administrator and public art director for the city of Northampton's Arts Council.
Peron's photographic work integrates historical and philosophical issues while bridging old and new photographic technologies by combining vintage cameras and analog practice with contemporary digital imaging and printing.
